#Topcat p3d upgrade#
If you are upgrading, see the upgrade product page. Even when I tested it with PSU I still got the same problem.Use this page only if you are completely new to this product and not upgrading from a previous HIFI Tech product. If I enter the weights manually into either the Instructor station or CDU / Maint / Weights section with the information from the PFPX flight plan then all works fine!īut I want to use TOPCAT. Both times I tried it I have crashed or only just managed to do a successful RTO. If I carry on and program the flight and taxi to take off, I go down the runway, hit V1, VR and on rotation of the yoke the plane simply won't lift. The Prosim Instructor Station CG = -30.2 (yes minus 30.2) - very odd that my CG in the CDU = 26.2 However if I check the Prosim Instructor station, the Passenger load equals the total PAYLOAD generated in PFPX>TOPCAT. When I plan the flight into the CDU and enter the ZFW from the Flight Plan, the CG is something like 26.2 - so this is what I enter on takeoff pages to get me my trim Fuel is accurate based on PFPX Flight plan - this is the only bit that seems right. Prosim CDU - when I check CDU / Maint / Weights - I can only see a value of approx 2032KG (sorry if not accurate) under 1st zone for passengers.

TOPCAT - review data and export to Flightsim - P3D loaded with Prosim Flight model at gateģ. PFPX - plan flight with circa 145 passengers and send data to TOPCATĢ. TOPCAT is driving me mad and caused me now to abort 2 takeoffs. Not sure if I have found a problem that matters or not or if its localised to just my setup but I can't see how.Īrghhh. I've now tried this in conjunction with ProsimUtils ARCARS but this doesn't seem to make any difference as its still the TOPCAT that is sending the data to FlightSim/Prosim from the Load into Flight sim section of the W&B tab in TOPCAT. The CG in the instructor station also reads at CG of -30 For example, Instructor section = 13000kg, CDU = 3000KG. It only seems to show a handful of passengers at the front of the plane.Īlso when viewing the Weights under the Maint section of the CDU the weight is only in the forward cabin and isn't equal to what is actually loaded by TOPCAT and shown in the instruction section. It would appear that in the instructor station Payload = PAX+Bag+Cargo, where as there is usually a section for Bag/Cargo but its lumped all together when TOPCAT sends the data.Īlso the passenger distribution isn't showing accurate (green icons where passengers would be). Is it normal for the information in the Instruction Station or within the CDU / Maint / Weights to be incorrect when using TOPCAT to send the details? Or ProSim will not know where to find PSU. If you have ProSim and PSU on different computers, make sure you have the correct IP selected to send to ProSim.

If firewall is wide open and you still don't have the OK, check the Server IP. If the OK is not visible within 5 seconds, you have a firewall or config problem. To make sure you have it configured and working, follow the following steps:
#Topcat p3d plus#
Release a new flight and make sure that the STD is within the time you press the AUTO LSK plus the above values entered in config. The AUTO initialize will not get all flights from PFPX, but only those that matches your criteria, in this case the time frame window.
#Topcat p3d full#
The pfpx data folder has everyone with full control.Īny other settings or suggestions to check?Ĭheck the time frame in PSU->CONFIG->PFPX tab. My sources are setup the same as in your screen shot.
